Our church is a non-denominational church in Putnam, TX, striving to live out the Biblical command to love God, each other and our neighbors well. This means worshiping and following Jesus Christ not only through our words, but also through our lives.
God
We believe in one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the Father
God is our Father, Deliverer, Healer, and Provider. He cares for the fatherless and invites us to come to Him in prayer.
God the Son
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Creator of all things. He came to earth as our Redeemer, giving His life through His death, burial, and resurrection so that those who believe in Him may be restored to God.
God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit draws us to Christ, lives within every believer, and guides us in our walk with God.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, given to guide us in life and godliness. It is our lamp and light and the sword of the Spirit as we stand against sin and spiritual opposition.
Man
We believe God created man and woman in His image. Though given stewardship over creation, mankind chose sin and became separated from God.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Because Jesus died for our sins, all who believe in Him may receive forgiveness and eternal life. Our salvation is secure in Christ and in the keeping power of God.
Baptism
We believe water baptism is an outward demonstration of the believer’s faith, identifying us with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and pointing to the resurrection promised to all believers.
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to share the Gospel, make disciples, and equip God’s people to serve His Kingdom.
Stewardship
We believe everything we have comes from God. We are called to faithfully care for what He has entrusted to us and to give toward the work of His Kingdom and the spread of the Gospel.
The Kingdom of Heaven
We believe that through Christ we are citizens of God’s Kingdom, while living as strangers and pilgrims in this present world. We eagerly await the return of Jesus Christ and the fullness of His coming Kingdom.
